FG fix East-West road- Monarch

The Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom,  His Majesty Monday Arthur Whiskey Udurhie 1, in Ethiope West Local Government Area has urged Federal government to fix the deplorable East-West road.

Udurhie, speaking with journalists at his palace about issues in Niger Delta as a region and the country at large,  The monarch accused the ministry of Niger Delta Affairs of not rising up to their responsibility.

The East-West road has been in a terrible state knowing that it is a major link to about  six states in southern part of the country.

He said Federal Government needs as case of urgency to fix the road since NDDC has failed in addressing the bad condition of the road. Let the Ministry of Works take over and put regular maintenance on the road.
