Emomotimi Guwor elected Speaker Delta State House of Assembly

Emomotimi Guwor has been elected Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly.

Guwor, who represents Warri South-West Constituency, was elected unopposed While Arthur Akpowowo of Ethiope-East Constituency was elected Deputy Speaker of the 8th Delta State House of Assembly.

Members of the 8th assembly were inaugurated by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the immediate-past Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly who stood as the longest-serving Speaker before being elected as the number one citizen of the state.
