The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly RT. Hon Emomotimi Guwor has said that the State House of Assembly will not be a rubber stamp.

Hon. Guwor made this assertion on Tuesday during a visit to the Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

The Speaker who visited the State governor alongside his deputy, Rt. Hon Arthur Akporwhowor on his emergence as presiding officer of the 8th Assembly, said that the House will not be antagonistic to the executive, but will work with the executive and not for the executive promoting a symbiotic relationship to the good of all Deltans.

He assured the Governor of the continued support and cooperation of the House to his administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda.

Guwor promised to take a leaf from the former Speaker carrying every member along without discrimination.
