DSS Arrest Joe Ajearo, NLC President In Abuja

In the early hours of today, Monday, on his way to attend a Trade Union Congress conference in the United Kingdom, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, President Joe Ajearo was reported arrested by Operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS.

Ajearo was about to board his flight at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja when he was apprehended by DSS.

According to sources, the reason for NLC’s president’s arrest is yet to be known, but he has been handed over to the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, for questioning.
