DJ Freshyk Taking The Music Industry By Storm

A US based Nigerian disc Jockey, Chinonso Kelvin Nonyelu, known with the stage name Djfreshyk, has announced himself as a global star at major concerts and opening of mics for popular African Artist like Jidenna, Flavour, Olamide, Davido, Wizkid amongst others.

DJ freshyk was born and raised in Benin City and was inspired by music icons, the likes Fela Kuti and America Michael Jackson as growing child which led to his playing drum in church at the age of 10.

Kelvin has worked as a model in Nigeria and taught African dances steps in Russia where he attended college. He has a degree in Computer Information System/ Software Engineering at City University of New York and has gained recognition for his collaboration with top afrobeats stars which led to his nomination at Afrimma and NEA (Nigerian entertainment award) in 2016 for best Diaspora Dj.
