Biyi Oloko a Nigerian-British wins UK by-election

A British Nigerian and Conservative Candidate, Biyi Oloko has won the Tilehurst South and Holybrook by-election in UK. The run for Tilehurst South and Holybrook seat by-election came as a result of the death of Peter Argyle who was the incumbent councillor for 24 years.

While speaking after his election Oloko, said “I can’t wait to get started walking on Peter’s step and side work with Councillor Richard Somner.

Oloko who is a chartered accountant, was a former Special Adviser on Economic Planning and Internal Revenue to late governor of Oyo State Abiola Ajimobi.

Berkshire is a county in South East England, and was recognized by Queen Elizabeth II as the Royal County of Berkshire in 1957 because of the presence of Windsor Castle, and letters of patents were issued in 1974.
