Former 3-term member of the House of Representatives Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Daniel Reyienejwu has said most of the genuine energies of what should be done by Nigerians towards the Federal Government should also be channelled towards the States because every month the Federal Government pay huge sums of money to the State according to the revenue formula from the Federation a punt and the State Governors should be accountable to the people at all times.

Hon. Daniel Reyienejwu gave this charge in an interview with Crown FM while reacting to the challenges being faced by Nigerians and the efforts of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to take Nigerians out of this present situation, noting that the State Governors collect money that is meant for the people of the State and it should be seen at the State levels what these funds are being used for as they are accountable to the development of the States.

Speaking further on the issue,  the former Federal Law Maker posited that the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has released money running over hundreds of billions to the State Governors that has not come to the States before now as a result of the removal of fuel subsidy which has brought untold hardship to many Nigerians and the State Governors must play their parts in cushioning the effects on the people of the communities, local governments and the entire State as everyone is shouting Federal Government leading the State Governors out of it but should never be so at this time.
