CSO partners with security

As part of activities to Mark the 2020 international Peace Day, the Center for Peace and Environmental Justice CEPEJ has built and donated the state Intelligence investigation Bureau Building to the Delta Police force, Warri Area Command.

In his address on Thursday during the handover ceremony National Coordinator of CEPEJ Mulade Sheriff averred that there is need for greater synergy towards combating the threat of insecurity.

On his part the Inspector General of Police Idris Abubakar represented by the state commissioner of Police, Hafiz Yahaya in his remark commended CEPEJ for the initiative stressing it would go a long way to  help the police in detecting and nipping crime.

He also called on other bodies to partner the police towards ensuring better security
