Court Ordered Release of 313 Terrorists

Three hundred and thirteen terrorist suspects arrested by the Nigerian Army in connection to terrorism have been released by a Federal High Court in Borno.

According to the Defence Director of Media Operations, Major Gen. Buba Edward the court ordered that the suspects be released on lack of evidence.

At the briefing held today in Abuja, Edward said after all investigations conducted the court ruled against the case as lacking evidence and other ancillary matters.

Edward said they would now be handed over to the State Government of Borno to take the necessary steps.
