Court Issues Public Summon Against Yahaya Bello

The inability of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to serve the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, fresh charges of N110 billion leveled against him has prompted the Federal High Court in Abuja to issue a summon against Bello.

Justice Maryanne Anenih ordered the EFCC to publicize Bello’s summon on national dailies after an application to appear in the court was not honored by the past governor today Thursday.

Furthermore, copies of the public summon should also be displayed around the court premises.
