Delta State Government has reiterated its willingness to accept constructive criticism describing such engagement as a catalyst for progress aimed at developing the state.

Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu, who gave the description during a press briefing in Asaba said this while reacting to a staged protest by some youths in Udu Local Government Area of the state, as they demand for increased government presence in the area.

Aniagwu said that the Oborevwori-led administration welcomes honest feedback through its official channels but frowned upon unnamed individuals allegedly attempting to incite discontent through false narratives ahead of the elections.

He emphasised that the administration has been fair in project distribution across all 25 local government areas in the state, including Udu, which according to him did not support the Governor in 2023.

Meanwhile, Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Peter Uviejitobor, has appealed to the people of Udu to remain patient and calm as development will get to every area following the MORE Agenda of the Oborevwori led administration.

Uviejitobor who is a native of Udu, recounted some projects that are already ongoing in the area and promised that the Governor will not pay less attention to any part of the state.
