Cameroon Mayor Found Dead In Pool Of Blood

Cameroon has lost one of its mayors from Bamenda after her body was discovered at Nchoubuh junction in the pool of her blood.

Joko Frida, who served as the second Deputy Mayor of Bamenda, 2, was reported to be returning from President Paul Biya’s documentary film projection in town when she was kidnapped at Savana Street close to her house on October 26, 2024.

According to family sources, the body of the late politician has been taken to Bamenda Regional Hospital for autopsy.

With the circumstances surrounding Frida’s death, separatists have been accused, with an investigation ongoing.
