BURN, a cooking stove manufacturing company has hinted that a facility would soon be created in Ogun State which will be an upgrade to the assemble plant in Kano.
This was made known by Ajuri Ngelale, Presidential Aide in Climate Action on Tuesday during the visit of BURN CEO, Peter Scott.
With over 13 years as a cooking stove consultant in Central America and Sub-Saharan Africa, Scott revealed that in 2014 BURN launched its first solar-powered manufacturing facility in Kenya and aims to expand to Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and DRC.
According to Ajuri, it is now important that clean cooking become a national focus, for wealth-creating opportunities and others.
Adding further he said the companies will be supported with clean-finance incentives to empower people to create sustainable solutions for tomorrow.
