Akwa-Ibom Deputy Governor Loses Daughter

A sad incident has once again hit the Akwa-Ibom State government just a few months after the state governor, Umo Eno, lost his wife. The deputy governor, Akon Eyakenyi’s daughter, has suddenly passed away.

According to reports, Blessing, the deputy’s daughter, died of complications during childbirth in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Condolences have begun to pour in from government officials, politicians, and associates to the family for their loss.

The deceased was said to have gotten married about seven months ago.
