Panic was sent down the spine of passengers after an Air Peace aeroplane from Port Harcourt to Lagos made an emergency landing following a fire alarm.

A statement by the airline said despite the fire alarm indicator on the cockpit by the captain, all passengers of the P47193 aircraft were safely disembarked.

The statement explained further that the captain performed all safety precautionary measures to put off the fire indicator and upon landing it was noticed that it was falsely triggered.

This is coming a few days after Dana aircraft skid off Lagos airport runway, which later led to the grounding of all its aircraft.
