Following the celebrated comeback win of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the just-concluded Osun governorship election, the governor has instructed the state’s Attorney General to withdraw the lawsuit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) concerning the freezing of the state government’s bank account.

Disclosing this on Channels TV on Sunday, Adeleke stated that he was called and congratulated by President Bola Tinubu, hence his decision and reaffirmation of his endorsement of the president for the 2027 presidential election.

“I’m putting them behind. What else do I want? I have instructed my Attorney General to drop it. Mr. President has done well. He called me. What more do I want?” said Adeleke.

He further stated that some of his supporters and officials interrogated by the EFCC are having their legal team make calls, as the APC in Osun is telling them about using federal might.
