The Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Smart Ufoh, has shared insights into his ministry’s 2025 budget after defending it before the Interministerial Budget Committee during a budget defence session organized by the Ministry of Economic Planning in Asaba the state capital.

Speaking to newsmen after his presentation, Ufoh described his experience as both challenging and rewarding where he provided an overview of the ministry’s achievements and future plans noting that the ministry’s focus for 2025 is to modernize technical education across the state.

The Commissioner further noted that plans were underway to establish model technical colleges across the 25 local government areas of the state as they upgrade the existing ones. Adding that plans are also on ground to commission the fourth model technical college in Omadino.
