10th Assembly: David Umahi Named Deputy Maj. Leader At Senate

The 10th National Assembly President, Senator Godswill Akpabio has announced the principal officers of the majority party for the All Progressives Congress in the upper legislative chamber.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by Akpabio with Opeyemi Bamidele the senator representing Ekiti Central, as majority leader and senator David Umahi from Ebonyi South, as the deputy majority leader.

Senator Ali Ndume representing Borno South was made chief whip of the House, and Senator Lola Ashiru representing Kwara South the deputy chief whip.
