Young Wife Cuts Off Husband’s Manhood in Yobe

Hadiza Jamilu, an 18-year-old housewife, has been arrested by the Yobe State police command for mutilating her husband’s genitals at their residence during a domestic dispute.

Police responded to a distress call on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Potiskum LGA, where the couple resides. Upon reaching the house, the husband was found in a pool of his blood.

The man was rushed to a clinic but was later referred to Azare Medical Center for further treatment until Monday, February 9, when the wife was traced and arrested.

Details regarding why the wife cut off her husband’s manhood are yet to be ascertained from the husband due to the severity of his pain, but he identified the wife as the culprit.

According to the spokesperson of the Yobe Command, Dungus Abdulkarim, an investigation is underway to determine what led the wife to cut off her husband’s manhood.
