Wife Killed Husband Over Internet Proceeds

A young lady has killed her husband and father of her daughter following a disagreement on the proceeds of internet fraud popularly known as yahoo yahoo.

Oluchi Nzemechi, a 27-year-old lady from Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State confessed to stabbing her husband Kelechi Nzemachi with a kitchen knife which later led to his death.

Oluchi claimed that despite catering for their needs since 2019 when they met, Kelechi never stopped hitting her on any slight provocation.

Lured into internet fraud by Kelechi, they were able to dupe an Indonesian woman of 250 million Rupiah but disagreement brewed between the couple about the sharing formula.

Seeing that her husband was dead, to exonerate herself, Oluchi quickly wrote on a paper and dropped it on her husband’s body “You think you can eat my money and go free? I am baba for the boys. I am coming for your wife and your child, including your family.”

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Henry Okoye, the suspect is currently under investigation and measures is been taken to return the 250 million Indonesian Rupiah to the rightful owner.
