Delta State Government has disassociated itself from the sales of palliatives and has blacklisted all those involved with selling grains meant for farmers in the state.

The Secretary of the State Palliative Committee and Special Adviser to the state Governor on Transportation, Jaro Egbo, disclosed this when he paid an unexpected visit to the warehouse at the ADP office in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.

Egbo while speaking with Crown FM’s Correspondent, noted that based on investigations, the leaders of these associations are behind selling the Commodities given to their members free of charge by the state government.

Although, he insisted that the grains had gotten to eighty percent of the targeted farmers but a new strategy would be adopted by the committee where they will conduct their own census.

Meanwhile, the Executive Assistant to Governor Sheriff on Agriculture and Natural Resources, George Oyefia, who was also at the warehouse, confirmed the activities of the state government as to the distribution of the grains.
