Disclosing that the objective of the vaccination was to increase population immunity (herd immunity) to yellow fever which will help in reducing the risk of transmission of the disease in communities, the Governor stated that healthcare workers will be setting up vaccination posts in public places in communities to ensure adequate coverage. He urged Deltans from nine months to 44 years to come out massively and get vaccinated irrespective of previous vaccination status.
