Update: Supreme Court Reaffirms Tinubu As President

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal brought by Atiku Abubakar and his party and reaffirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu.

The court upheld the ruling of the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal that the APC candidate was duly elected winner of the February 25 election.

Justice Inyang Okoro, chairman of the seven-man panel held that the appeal lacked merit and is hereby dismissed.

Earlier before the judgment, the court had dismissed Atiku’s application to file fresh evidence against Tinubu.
