Universities to broaden access to university education-Okowa

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has stated that the creation of the three new universities in the State will help to broaden Deltan’s access to University education.

Governor Okowa stated this on Wesnesday in Asaba while inaugurating an 8-member Project Management Committee for the three newly-established universities in the state.

Members of the Committee include: the Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare as Chairman, with Ambassador Godson Echegile and Prof. Emmanuel Nwanze.

Others are: Prof. John Enaohwo, Prof. Abednigo Ekoko, Prof. Sam Ukala, Mr Ejiro Udjo ad members, while Mrs. Bridget Odobor will serve as Secretary.

“We must broaden access to university education for our students. We are also confident that these new universities will help to satisfy our people’s aspirations and yearnings for good and quality education.” Governor Okowa said.
