Touts Embarrassing Nigerian Airport Would Soon Be Flushed Out

The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo has said touts disgracing the nation at Nigeria airports would soon be flushed out from the system.

Keyamo revealed this at the Ministerial Sectoral Press Briefing, that the two types of touts in the airport are the official and non-official ones.

He said the official ones are the ones with uniforms inside the airport causing embarrassment to the nation and showing no respect for their official duty.

Noting that the touts outside are more dangerous and would need extra security to push them out since FAAN officials do not make use of guns and some of them outside are fully armed.

Opening the cankerworm eating the airport system, Keyamo said measures have been put in place to reduce human contact at the airport.

Adding further, the Minister lamented the poor condition of toilets, chillers and other airport facilities noting that works are being contracted to private companies to upgrade the standard.
