Togolese Cry Power Outage As Nigeria Cuts Power Supply Overseas

As the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission cuts down on electricity supplies to neighbouring West African countries to boost domestic supply, Togolese has cried out over the epileptic power supply.
Apart from Togo, other West African countries have been plunged into darkness for weeks but the month of May was more difficult for market traders in Togo as they complained about their goods going bad and losing money.
Food vendors, hair salons and other small businesses cry over the loss experienced in Lome with the government assuring them that natural gas was the issue but it would soon be sorted out.
The Nigerian government had published data showing debt owned by overseas nations, but Togo’s government said the experience is from Ghana and a little attributed to Nigeria but assuring that things will bounce back in no short time.
