Tinubu Gives Wike Order To Generate IGR In FCT

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has been pulled out of the Treasury Single Account by President Bola Tinubu.

President Tinubu said the reason for this decision is to allow Minister Nyesom Wike to use the internally generated revenue, IGR, for the development of the nation’s capital.

It was disclosed by the minister on Friday at a news conference in Abuja and approval had also been given by Tinubu to create FCT civil service commission.

According to Wike the creation of the commission will allow the progression of staff of the FCT Administration, due to many complaints from civil servants.
