Stepfather Impregnates 13-Year-Old Daughter, Tried to Terminate Pregnancy

Justice has been demanded for a 13-year-old who was molested by her 32-year-old stepfather, became pregnant, and attempted to terminate the pregnancy before the intervention of a school principal.

The case was brought before the Delta State Police Command by the minor’s school principal, who noticed some changes in her. Upon questioning, she revealed that her stepfather had been having sex with her for over a year and had bought her abortion pills after she complained that she had yet to see her period.

Speaking in a video to address the issue, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Bright Edafe, stated that upon arrest and interrogation, the stepfather disclosed that he had googled the abortion pills online and bought them from a pharmacy. He later added an intravenous injection but gave it to her to drink.

“I have been having sex with her for one year. When she told me that she missed her period, I googled online, bought the drugs, and gave them to her. But when the period didn’t come, I bought an injection and gave it to her to drink,” the stepfather said.

As of the time of filing this report, the owner of the pharmacy has been arrested for selling drugs without a doctor’s prescription, while the investigation is still ongoing.
