Soldiers Again Razed Okuama Community

Soldiers have again stormed the Okuama community in Ughelli South LGA, causing disarray amongst the residents as many scrambled for safety.

Reports from the community revealed that in the early hours of today, Monday, the military men came in with gunboats left at the Okoloba community, walked down to Okuama, and shot at anything on sight.

A source from the community revealed that a few weeks back some community leaders in Okuama were arrested and the recent attack at Okuama is coming after monitor drones flew over the community on Sunday.

The source who said he was calling from the bush also sent an SOS message to the government that the tent houses they had rebuilt for themselves had been razed down again.

As at the time of filing the reason for the current military invasion into the Okuama community is unknown.
