Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice-President had on Tuesday labelled the vice-presidential candidate of the APC, Kashim Shettima, as the chairman of the “Osinbajo ice cream company”.

Osinbajo said so at the book launching titled ‘Deputizing and Governance in Nigeria, written by the governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The vice-president, who was also a special guest at the occasion, jokingly said “Distinguished Kashim Shetimma is also the majority shareholder and chairman of the Yemi Osinbajo ice cream company.”

It will be recalled in June, during the heat of campaigning for Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of APC in June,  Shettima tagged Osinbajo as a nice man who ought to be selling ice cream.

“Osinbajo is a nice man. But nice men don’t make good leaders. Nice men should be selling popcorn, and ice cream,” Shettima had said at the time.

Before the emergence of Tinubu as the flag bearer of the party for the 2023 elections.
