Senate Committee on power uncovers proposed power projects

The senate committee on power has uncovered 20 proposed electricity projects in Lau local government area, the home LGA of Mamman Saleh, minister of power.

The committee members condemned the proposed projects during the 2021 budget proposal of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).

The lawmakers also accused the minister of uneven distribution of projects under the ministry.
