Sacked Lawmakers Chased With Teargas From Plateau State House

The sacked lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party have been chased with teargas by security men from the Plateau State House of Assembly.

In an earlier development, a Court of Appeal had sacked 16 PDP lawmakers.

These lawmakers today arrived at the House of Assembly Complex, pressing their way into the ongoing plenary.

According to the Daily Post, the aggrieved lawmakers had approached the Rayfield Old Government House in Jos Tuesday morning with their supporters backing them to sit for the plenary.

In other to reduce the already tension boiling policemen and other security operatives stormed the premises to deny the sacked lawmakers entry into the chambers of the House of Assembly but the embattled lawmakers had vowed not to vacate the premises.
