Operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS, have taken to custody Bello Bodejo, President of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, over the creation of a vigilante group in Nasarawa State.

The arrest was made at about 3:40 pm on Tuesday at the Miyetti Allah head office close to Goshen church.

DSS and some military personnel had stormed Tundun Maliya Cattle Market at Kilometre 22, Abuja-Keffi Expressway in Tundun-Wada, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State where the office was located and took hold of Bodejo.

Immediately Bodejo was cited at the gate he was taken to the vehicle brought by the operatives as they zoomed off.

However, in a new development, the DSS and Nigeria Army have denied arresting Bodejo.

But confirmation from the National Secretary of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Saleh Al-Hassan says the president was arrested by the DSS and soldiers on Tuesday.

In a twist of words, a source from the DSS confirmed to the Punch that Bodejo was arrested because of the Nomad vigilante group he created last week, which might be of danger and cause mayhem across the country.
