Rename University of Nigeria, Nsukka after Queen Elizabeth II – Adamu Garba

Former presidential candidate, Adamu Garba has called for the immortalization of the late England monarch, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, in Nigeria.

Adamu who opined that Nigeria should declare three days of National mourning over the death of the Queen said the country should also, immortalize her by renaming the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, after her.

In a series of tweets, Adamu who claimed that UNN is the first University in Nigeria said it would have been an easier deal to rename UNN in the Queen’s honor.

In order to immortalized Queen Elizabeth, we should rename the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to Queen Elizabeth University of Nigeria since it is the first University in Nigeria.
