Rema Reacts To $3m Pay At India Wedding

Superstar Afrobeat singer Rema, who was invited to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on July 12 in India, has reacted to the rumors that he was heavily paid a mouth-watering sum.

The wedding, which was conducted at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC) in Mumbai, between Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and pharmacy tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, Rema was reported to have been paid $3 million for his performance.

Rema performed his hit song ‘Calm Down’ to the excitement of the host and guests according to Hindustan Times.

In a recent interview, the calm-down crooner opened up about the India wedding performance and if he was paid $3 million.

“Hehehe. That’s what I can say, to be honest. Money-wise, but overall, it was a great treatment. It was beautiful,” he said.
