Railway project able to rejuvenate rural economy-Sen. Okowa

The Delta state government has said that the Itakpe-Warri rail line will aid in fostering socio-economic development of the communities around the rail-way line in the state.

Speaking at the inauguration of the commercial operations of the Itakpe-Ajeokuta-warri line in Owa-Oyibu,Ika North East, the Governor said “This railway project has the capacity to kick-start new small-scale businesses, support existing ones and rejuvenate the rural economy”
