President Tinubu Rejects EU Electoral Report

President Bola Tinubu, has rejected the report by the European Union’s Electoral Observer Mission, on the 2023 general elections describing the final report as a product of a poorly done desk job that relied heavily on few persons.

The rejection was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by Mr. Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy.

The President in the statement noted that some notable bodies like the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA and the electoral umpire that is the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC commended the conduct and outcome of the election.
