President Tinubu, Peter Obi Condoles with Boxer Anthony Joshua Over Accident

Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has expressed his heartfelt condolences over the ghastly accident on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway that involved former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua and his friends.

Obi shared his thoughts on X following the accident that killed the boxer’s two international friends on the spot, stating that the incident is worrisome and called for deep reflection, as no ambulance was on standby to convey Joshua to the hospital.

He prayed for Joshua’s quick recovery and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased.

Furthermore, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his condolences through a call he made to Joshua, his mother, and Governor Abiodun Dapo, according to a statement from Bayo Onanuga.
