President Bola Tinubu has paid a condolence visit to the family and victims of the Jos attack that left 27 people dead and others injured on March 29th, Palm Sunday, after gunmen attacked Angwan Rukuba.
The message from President Tinubu to all, especially the grieving mother who held her dead son in a viral video, was one of encouragement that the government will do everything to support them.
“This experience will not repeat itself. I take responsibility. I know the pain. I saw in the video how you held on to Ayuba and the pain and agony in your heart.
“But it’s only God who can give you joy and comfort. No amount of money can repay all of you. Yes, as a government, we will try our best to comfort you,” he said.
Speaking further, “The best solution is for justice to be done, the world that people like us grew up to know,” President Tinubu said.
