Police on Rescue Mission for GUO Passengers

Police in Edo State are searching for the passengers of a GUO Motors bus who were kidnapped by bandits along the Lagos-Benin Expressway, resulting in one death.
The vehicle with the number FA 280 YJ was attacked around 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, with five passengers inside. The driver was killed, and one woman, who sustained a gunshot injury, is receiving positive medical treatment.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Edo, ASP Eno Ikoedem, stated on Tuesday that CP Monday Agbonika has ordered immediate action to secure the Ore-Benin axis in efforts to rescue the victims.
A video of the attack circulated on social media, showing the bandits firing heavy gunshots and whisking their captives into the bush.
