Police Arrest Kidnap Syndicate In Ozoro

‎The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Igbetokun, and the Force Headquarters in Abuja have applauded the police and other security agencies for their efforts in combating crime in Delta State.

‎In an announcement on Friday, it was revealed that police operatives arrested a very notorious kidnapper involved in interstate kidnapping.

‎Thirty-year-old Abubakar Hassan is a kingpin responsible for coordinating a cross-state syndicate operation involving Delta, Rivers, Imo, and Enugu States.

‎Hassan was apprehended by operatives of the CP-Special Assignment Team, following an intelligence report.

‎During interrogation, Hassan confessed to having led various operations along the Ughelli-Ozoro axis and also led the police to a forest in Ozoro where two AK-47 rifles, four magazines, and thirty-two rounds of live ammunition were recovered.
