Police Arrest Kidnap Syndicate In Ozoro

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Igbetokun, and the Force Headquarters in Abuja have applauded the police and other security agencies for their efforts in combating crime in Delta State.
In an announcement on Friday, it was revealed that police operatives arrested a very notorious kidnapper involved in interstate kidnapping.
Thirty-year-old Abubakar Hassan is a kingpin responsible for coordinating a cross-state syndicate operation involving Delta, Rivers, Imo, and Enugu States.
Hassan was apprehended by operatives of the CP-Special Assignment Team, following an intelligence report.
During interrogation, Hassan confessed to having led various operations along the Ughelli-Ozoro axis and also led the police to a forest in Ozoro where two AK-47 rifles, four magazines, and thirty-two rounds of live ammunition were recovered.
