Pastor Feyi Daniels Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Raping Church Member

An Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court has delivered its judgment on the founder and Bishop of I Reign Christian Family Ministry, Feyi Daniel to life imprisonment for raping his church member.

The trial judge, Justice Ramon Oshodi on Friday, January 26, found pastor Daniels guilty of rape and sexual assaults of two female members, therefore sentenced him to serve three years and life imprisonment concurrently.

According to Justice Oshodi, the testimony of the complaint and that of witnesses proved beyond reasonable doubt that Daniel is guilty.

The judge however discharged the second count charge of another member allegedly raped in DDaniels’shome in 2020.

He said the prosecutor failed to prove the use of force and fear of being harmed against the defendant to establish guilt.

Pastor Daniel was sent to serve his jail term at kirikiri maximum facility where he is currently being detained and his name registered with the Lagos State Sex Offenders.
