Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Senate President

The Deputy President Of the Senate and governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress in Delta state, Ovie Omo-Agege,  says Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration has misused and wasted the state’s hard-earned resources.

Omo-Agege stated this in Asaba, at the inauguration of the Delta State APC campaign Council.

He says the party must take back the state from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who with his cohorts, has held the state hostage.

The former Secretary to the state government  asserted that “after over seven years of Okowa, one thing we all agree on is that there is a huge gap between the fund Delta State received, generated and borrowed; even recklessly, that is what Okowa’s government has done.”

Speaking further, Omo-Agege says  when the state ran out of funds, Okowa embarked on a reckless borrowing spree, “thereby mortgaging our future and those of our unborn children.”

“And now he wants to hand over to his stooge, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori who as the House Speaker approved every kobo that was wasted and stolen to protect himself from accountability.”
