Oghojafor Reacts To Student Loan Bill

Effurun-based Legal Practitioner and Social Commentator, Barr. John Oghojafor has said that the Student Loan bill recently signed into Law by President Bola Amed Tinubu is a well-conceived one for the benefit of Nigerian Students.

Barr. Oghojafor made this assertion in an interview with Crown FM in Effurun, Delta State. He noted that the Student Loan will be more beneficial to the Nigerian Student as not all Courses in Higher Institutions will afford immediate employment after two years of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Nigeria.

He advised it would have been a Scholarship for Students as students who did not study professional courses will find it difficult to get a jobs after graduation.

Speaking further, the Social Commentator asserted that not all students will have guarantors as one of the criteria needed as stating that most of the less privileged ones would find it difficult to get a level 14 and above civil servant who can stand for them to be beneficiaries.
