Delta State: Crash kills three, injures others

Three persons have reportedly died in a crash along the Ogwashi-Uku-Kwale Road in Delta State.

The crash which happened on Saturday close to the Isheagu junction involved a GLK SUV and a bus with the inscription St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Asaba. The collision left three dead at the scene and others injured.

“The GLK SUV collided with the bus, and three persons died, others sustained serious injuries,” an eye witness said.

It was learned that the injured victims were rushed to a hospital nearby for medical attention and the corpses evacuated by the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

Mr. Udeme Bassey Eshiet, the Sector Commander confirmed the incident, stating that it was caused by excessive speed.
