No Victims Rescued From Easter Sunday Attack – Group

Contrary to the statement of the Nigerian Army that 31 victims abducted on Sunday in Ariko village, Kacia LGA, Kaduna, a community group in Kaduna State has denied it.

The group claimed the report was false and misleading in a statement by the President of the Kuturmi Unity Development Association, J.D. Ariko, stating that all victims abducted are still in captivity.

According to Ariko, as of April 6th, families of the victims are still in contact with the abductors, who have reportedly confirmed that the victims are alive and currently held at their camp.

The Nigerian Army is yet to respond to the denial claim.
