No plan for fresh lockdown- Lai Mohammed

As Nigeria battles the second wave of the corona virus pandemic, Information Minster, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, says the Federal Government has no plan to impose a fresh lockdown on Nigeria.

Mohammed, who spoke at a conference in Lagos Monday, appealed to Nigerians to adhere to all protocols outlined by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

He, however, said Federal Government is very unhappy that Nigerians are not adhering to the basic Covid-19 protocols of wearing face masks, practicing social distancing, washing hands, and ensure that they do not gather in large numbers.
