No More Sports , Niger Delta Ministries — Tinubu

With the reshuffling of cabinets of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, It is unclear what lies the fate of Niger Delta Affairs Minister Abubakar Momoh and John Enoh, Sports Minister, that have been displayed from positions.

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, on Wednesday, announced that the Niger Delta Ministry and Ministry of Sports Development have been scrapped after a Federal Executive Meeting, FEC, was held today in Abuja.

The Ministry of Regional Development will now oversee all Regional Development Commissions while the National Sports Commission will take over the Ministry of Sports.

Also, the Ministry of Tourism was merged with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy.
