Kano Football Players Escape Accident, Others Injured

The under-19 team players of Kano Pillars FC had many of its team members injured on Tuesday on their way to New Jos Stadium when the vehicle conveying them had an accident.

The team was going for an inaugural U-19 youth league against Plateau U-19 when the unfortunate incident occurred, but thankfully no lives were lost according to the media directorate of the team.

The players and drivers with severe injuries have been taken to the hospital for medical attention and are closely monitored.
