Nigerian Police Inspector Commits Suicide Over Financial Difficulties

A Police Inspector attached to Doubeli Division in Adamawa State, Dasu Kassa, has committed suicide at his residence after returning from the hospital.

The inspector who was a police driver was found dead at his residence in Anguwan Yungur, Girei Local Government Area, on Monday evening.

According to reports from Kassa’s neighbours, he had returned from a hospital in Yola, the state capital, earlier that evening before taking his own life.

The circumstances surrounding Inspector Kassa’s death are currently being investigated by the Nigerian Police Force

However, his family members revealed that medical bills and financial constraints may have contributed to such a decision since Kassa left no note behind.
